Equinox is the annual inter-collegiate techno-cultural fest hosted by Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology. To relate it to the energy of the burning fire, it was kicked off as 'El-Fuego' in it's pioneer version in 2006. However, in the later years, the fest was renamed to 'EQUINOX' to signify the phenomenon into which the fest had turned out correlating it to the annual celestial event going by the same name.

The eighth edition of Equinox promises bedazzling events,both technical and cultural, including the performances of the contemporary rock band, Thaikkudam bridge and the breathtaking stunts of the Ghost Riders. The theme of our fest this year is "Go green", which stands as a constant reminder that though fun,entertainment and education are what we have focused on, our main concern is to do so being mindful and sensitive towards Mother Nature.
