FASHION SHOW

General Rules:
  • Thematic fashion show - teams are allowed to choose themes of their interest.
  • No limit on the number of rounds or themes. Maximum 12 people in each round, except last round where all the members are allowed on the stage.
  • The music should be submitted to the organizers 1 hr. prior to when the event begins.
  • Judgment will be based on Design, Theme, Choreography and Walk.
  • Obscenity of any sort will not be entertained.
  • Props are allowed
  • Time limit: 20 mins
  • Team size: maximum of 20 including the narrator

CHOREO DANCE

General Rules:
  • Only one team per college is allowed.
  • Participants may use more than one song in their performance.
  • Usage of props is allowed. These have to be brought by the teams themselves but the organizers hold the discretion of allowing it on stage
  • Prerecorded music should be brought in a pen drive in .wav or .mp3 format only (Other formats may not be supported on the computer – use them at your own risk).
  • Time limit: 10 minutes (+2 min setup and clearance time). Teams shall be heavily penalized by Organizers for not doing so.
  • Any kind of fluid, flame, heavy object or any material which has possibility of tampering the stage is not allowed on stage.
  • Obscenity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
  • Any team which fails to perform during their allotted slot no other alternate slots will be given.

SYNCHRO DANCE

     

General Rules:
  • 2 participants per team.
  • Maximum no. of participants from each college 2.
  • Each team will be given a time slot of 10 minutes.
  • Sound track must be submitted in a CD and in MP3 format.
  • Points shall be awarded on the basis of theme, costumes, co-ordination, and choreography ‘synchronization’.

TREASURE HUNT

“There comes a time in every rightly-constructed boy’s life when he has a raging desire to go somewhere and dig for hidden treasure.”      

Main Point:
  • Finalist teams will have to complete 5 tasks at 5 different locations.
  • Elimination Process of which Best Teams will be done for the final treasure hunt if team limit is exceeded.
  • A Team of at least three and maximum 5 (1 Team Captain and Members) is required for a team to participate.
  • Multiple Teams from a college can participate.
  • The Team should be ready to sign a indemnity before the event.
  • The Registration Charges of Rs.400/team has to be paid at the counter.
    General rules:
  • The Team That Stays Together. Your team must stay together at all times. You may not split up to “divide” tasks.
  • Playing Fair. Have fun and try to win. But don’t let your competitive instincts drive you to ruin other people’s chances to win. If you do, your team will be disqualified. That means no sabotaging, lying, cheating, stealing, or copying other people’s work.
  • Cheaters Never Win. If anyone on your team cheats or breaks the rules, the whole team gets disqualified.
  • Some of the events are physically demanding and require fair amount of traveling. Only those participants who can handle the stress of a day of continuous activity are advised to take part.
  • Each task will have a set of instructions which will be handed to each team at the task location.
  • ELIMINATION: Every round faces an elimination of certain number of teams based on the priority at which the tasks are completed.
  • Appeals. There is no appeals process in The Equinox 2K15 Treasure hunt. There’s no crying in The Equinox 2K15 Treasure hunt!
  • Judges. The judges will be judging you. We will be judging you since the moment you get here.
  • Decisions. All decisions by the judges are final. No exceptions.
  • Strangers. Some tasks will with deal with strangers. It is important to be kind and respectful with strangers and with that always be on guard and stay safe, use your healthy judgment when it comes to people who you don’t know.
  • Citizens. No harassing citizens of your town, physically or verbally for the items or photographers. It is their right not to help you and you should respect that(even if you think they are lame for not helping you.)
  • Teams must be courteous and respectful to their teammates and all outside people involved in The Equinox 2K15 Treasure hunt .
  • If businesses or private individuals lend you items its okay, but please note that it is your responsibility to return any borrowed items to their original owners.
  • KNOW YOUR BOUNDARIES: Everyone needs to know the boundaries of the Equinox 2K15 Treasure hunt. Make it very clear, what they are, whether you are inside, outside, in a certain neighborhood etc.
  • NO LITTERING. Always clean up after yourselves and your teammates.
  • NO MOBILE PHONES & TECHNOLOGY: Participants will not be allowed to carry mobile phones or any other technological devices for the duration of The Equinox 2K15 Treasure hunt.
  • Judges determinations after The Equinox 2K15 Treasure hunt are final.
  • If You Fight the Law (and the Law Wins). You’re here to have fun, but to do so legally. We don’t want to get sued. So here it is. If you break any laws at any time during any portion of the The Equinox 2K15 Treasure hunt, your team will be disqualified. This includes, but is not limited to, moving violations, trespassing, burglary, larceny, embezzlement, grand theft, petty theft, shoplifting, assault, plagiarism, blackmail, indecent exposure, decent exposure, recent exposure, having a concealed firearm, unlawfully discharging a firearm, unlawful sale of a firearm, brandishing a weapon, bribery, forgery, perjury, fraud, computer fraud, mail fraud, telemarketing fraud, tax evasion, tax fraud, insurance fraud, securities fraud, and bad hair.
