CYBER NOVA 2K15

- Round1 : beat the keys
- Round2 : logic testing & basics of cse
- Round 3: backtrack
- Round 4: surprise event

Rounds::
-
Round 1
- A corrupted program will be given and the contestants are supposed to sort out the errors.
- Participants will be short listed based on the number of errors sorted by them.
Round 2
- Participants will have to code according to the instructions provided
- First two contestants who provide the required output will be declared winners
- If none of the participants could complete the task in time, Winner will be decided according to the implementation or logic applied
- There will be an on-spot preliminary round.
- The event will be constituted by two rounds
- Each round will be of one hour duration
- Ten contestants who tops the first round will proceed into the second round.
- Programming languages will be C/C++
- The decision of the jury will be considered final and no arguments will be tolerated.

- Paper is supposed to be in IEEE format comprising of not more than 6 pages.
- Paper must contain participants’ name, department, year, e-mail ID, contact number and college name.
- Maximum of 2 members per team is allowed.
- Participants are not allowed to present more than one paper.
- Inter college teams are allowed to present paper.
- Abstract of the paper must be sent to the mail ID ‘ techec@lmcstequinox.com ’ and the file name should be in the title of the paper in .doc, .docx or .pdf format
- Presentation time will 12 minutes out of which 10 minutes is for presentation and 2 minutes for queries.
- The selected participants must bring 2 hard copies of documentation.
- NOTE: - “Last date for submission of abstracts is 25th of January and confirmation regarding selection of your abstract will be sent on or before 27th of January.”

- Event will be conducted in three levels.

- Level 1: Here, the participant is shown an already assembled circuit and he or she is expected to reproduce the same on the sheet provided. The faster the better. Participants who are through level 1 will be given a 5 min demo on the usage and application of multisim software by the organizers.
- Level 2: Now that the participant is accustomed to multisim, he is provided with a circuit familiar to him on a sheet of paper. He is supposed to execute it on the software. The one who qualifies this level will be promoted to next level.
- Level 3: Participants are given a circuit on paper. They need to assemble the circuit on the bread board and should produce the desired output.
- Note: A time limit will be specified at the time of event.

- Maximum of 2 members per team is allowed. Description
- The participant is expected to come up with his technical knowledge. The team will be provided with several electronic components and INTERNET facility. With the given components the team has to make a circuit on breadboard and should produce a desired output. The evaluation process will be based on the :
- Complexity of the circuit.
- Student’s knowledge about the circuit.
- Time taken by the team in completing the circuitry.
